Dove x LinkedIn: Black Hair is Professional

The Black Hair is Professional project aimed to optimise Dove's campaign assets for social media, amplifying support for the CROWN Act and its mission to end race-based hair discrimination.

I started on the ideating team creating the original campaign, established art direction for the video, and reimagined assets for Instagram Reels and TikTok, adding subtitles for accessibility. I also created an animated video from still images and transformed static posts into interactive carousels with bold visuals and simplified copy.

The reworked assets significantly boosted engagement across platforms and contributed to the CROWN Act being enacted in six more states, reinforcing Dove’s impact on inclusivity and acceptance.
